Any one have an idea when the steam engine.will be going thru Columbus Wi on its way to Milwaukee Wi on its initial trip this week

It is hard to say when the 261 will actually be anywhere. Scheduled departure from Harrison Street is 8:30am. It lists 11:00am as being the time at Winona, MN. Alot depends on traffic on the line. Plus coming eastbound somewhere #261 will have to meet Amtrak #7. Most of the line is single track with passing sidings. In 2004 261 was scheduled into Milwaukee at 6pm and arrived around 8:30pm.

Best advice would be listen to a Scanner. Even though this is an Amtrak Sponsered/Ran trip, I don’t think we can rely on Julie.
