For those of us who missed it before, the Modern Marvels -Freight Trains is on the History Channel. It should be on agian at 11:00 PM Central.

i watched it

it was pretty good

especially since im sick and couldnt sleep

but it didnt come on till 1 am eastern

I loved the EMD plant and the UP maintanance facility. I’d love to work at a place like that.

i believe it was GE in erie. loved the GEVOs. how long has BNSF had the new scheme? footage must be recent.

loathar, do they have diesel locomotives in Amish country?

Not many anymore.[V] More horses and buggies than trains.(I wonder if the Amish kids play with the Brio trains?)

Its not a new show guys, It was on on demand this November when I was recovering from surgery. But still a great show!

I wasn’t saying that it was new. I missed this episode the first several times that it ran late last year and I know of several others that did as well. I enjoyed the show and hope that the History Channel will do more episode on the Modern Railroads.

Hello,

Does anyone ever watch the show called “trains and locomotives” on the RFDTV channel? It runs on Saturdays from 0900 - 1000 and is one hour. Great program since they show programs on things from “railfanning?” to shows on inter-urban rail service and trollys. Nice show to watch.

That Trains and Locomotives show is good. They also have I Love Toy Trains on RFDTV. Check your PBS schedual for Tracks Ahead.
