Has anyone installed traction tires on a Moder Power 4-6-2 in N scale? If so what is the best and easyest way to do so? They seem to be a little more tricky than doing a Kato 2-8-2. I need some help so I do not mess up mo locos.
Thanks, Bill

Hi Bill
I’ve never had the pleasure of replacing wheels on a locomotive yet but have heard that it can be quite painful. As I cannot find anything myself other than general instructions I would suggest one of two things.
First, try your local hobby shop and see if there is someone there who knows or 2… there is a new product called Bullfrog Snot (not kidding) that is used to add a rubber like compound to drivers that has them act like traction tires.
I also have a 4-6-2 that is not a very good puller and I do intend to use that instead of installing traction tires.
Hope this helps a little bit at least
Look for Powersteamguy1790 on the trainboard.com website. He should be able to help…Mike
