Model Power Code 83 flex track

I just noted an ad in the latest MR which mentions Model Power offering code 83 flex track. Has anyone had experience with this product?

Thanks

Roger

Some time back I had a similar question about Model Power track in general. Of the 5 or 6 responses I got, all were positive. Several guys said they used Model Power track almost exclusively. The only negative I got was that it seemed a bit stiffer than some othe brands. As to code 83 specifically, I don’t recall any comments. Hope this helps -----

I can’t say anything about code 83, but I just got my case of code 100 model power flex. it is nickel silver rail. I tested it out next to the atlas code 100 flex. the only difference I can see is it is a little stiffer, but when you shape your curves it holds the shape better. you dont have as much reflex bounce back as with the atlas. the ties also look better. they have better detail. I can only assume that the code 83 is just as good. I orderd mine from trainworld . Got a case of 100 pieces for 119.00. the atlas track is typically in the neighborhood of over 200 for 100 piece case. As for me the only difference was in the price. Also, if you order from trainworld. they have very fast shiping. ordered mine on monday, and it was on my doorstep on friday. Now thats service. hope this helps you some.
