Model Power Track

Having brought lots of code 83 track for the new Seaboard Southern from Walthers as well as from other online hobby shops ( we do not have a real hobby shop in Monkey town ( had two both closed ( one open just for the purpose of putting the other out of bussiness, having did that close his shop)))
We now have a Hobby Lobby that carries Model Power Track has any one had any real experience with model power track, I have a couple of E8/9 made by them, but that another story and we wont even go there.I’m just wondering what you think of thier track.

Make sure you get the nickel-silver. Thier flex is stiffer than Atlas, and takes a set. It is also code 100.

Thanks Hobby Lobby is selling 15 feet for $9.99, that a bundle of 5 three foot lenth flex track, while the price looks good, I was just wondering about the quality, looks good!
I was thinking of useing it on my hidden trackage. and it is nickle silver.

The only difference I have found between Model Power and Atlas flex track rail is in the stiffness. Model Power is harder to bend into a curve than Atlas, but it comes only in code 100 rail, so you will encounter problems trying to connect it to your existing track. I personally like Model Power’s smaller crossties, which seem to be more prototypically sized than those of Atlas.
