I had been planning my birthday celebration for months. I had it all planned out. The entire club would come over to work on my RR, and goody bags would have Kadee couplers, a box car, and Plastic Cement. Suddenly, weeks before the party, we were called off to Orlando Fl. What’s worse is the fact that the flight was set for my birthday.
When we arrived in Orlando, my parents said they would do something for me to make up for this dilemma. It wasn’t until Yesterday that they did it. We had to be at the airport at 1, Latin started at 11:30 EST, so I had the morning. While driving down International Drive, a roadside sign said “Helicopter Tours & Model Train Exhibit.” From Here, anybody can figure out what I did.
The Railroad was a huge operation. The G-Scale empire extended everywhere. To be true, it wasn’t as well done as some of what we do, but access hatches were hidden, scenery was unique, the trains ran, and it was fun. Here is a track plan for those who are interested.

You entered at the upper right, and traveled counter clockwise. There were three sections of viewing and four where the trains ran. The entire thing was probably 30 X 40 or so feet. To get everything straight, there was no Forced Perspective whatsoever. A train might be running on the far side of the room for a moment, and seconds later, it is brushing up against you. Here are photos of the extravaganza. I highly recommend this to anyone in the area.
For Descriptive purposes, the Yard is at the top, the Pond is just across the walkway from the yard, the Town, far left and middle, and the Mountains are closest to the exit.
First we have the yard. The red pylon is supporting a massive viaduct over the walkway.

Looking back, the door is to the immediate left, we see the Roundhouse
