Like many others, Jeff Andrew put a bar in his man cave. Unlike many others, he put an N scale layout inside the bar. More photos and an interview with Jeff on my blog.
Now if the bar in my basement loooked like that, i wouldn’t be about to tear it out to make more room for a layout, I’d find some way to work around it.
Is this the thread about live loads, or the one about the 3-compartment tank car? Please stop the latter in front of me with tequila, cointreau and lime juice. A gondala behind that with ice is preferred.
Years ago, when I lived in Dayton, Ohio, there was a bar in a section of town called the Oregon District, called The Oregon Express. It not only had trains just below the ceiling all the way around the room (O scale), but the bar had a glass top with an HO scale “layout”, fully scenicked, inside. That was back in the 70’s and 80’s. I don’t know if that place still exists today, but it was cool to see it.
