Got the issue yesterday in the mail, together with the now traditional “free” booklet of additional planning and layout material. It will take several days to read and digest all the articles and information.
The major feature in MRP 2012 is considerable coverage of Andy Sperandeo’s Cajon Pass themed ATSF layout but of course there is much else besides. The booklet appears to be entirely Andy Sperandeo’s work.
I imagine it should be in hobby shops fairly soon.

Thanks. I was at the local Barnes & Noble store today, and it wasn’t on the rack. At least we know it has begun distribution.

I hope mine arrives soon as the Feb. issue did not. I did find it humorous that problems were cropping up with the issue having pages missing. I called and told them I was missing all of the pages and the cover as well and the nice lady on the phone said a replacement is on the way. I really look forward to the planning issue each year as they have been good to excellent every time. To you folks that use your layouts in the magazine and share your insights a great big thanks.
