Model Railroad Stone Works - where did they go?

Anybody know what happened to these guys… Model Railroad Stoneworks? They used to make kits and finished models of PRR stone bridges and other things. Last time I saw any mention of them was back in 2009.

I called the phone number I found for them. All I got was a message stating that line has been disconnected. No other information was available.

That’s the number I called. It’s been disconnected.

He went out of business about two years ago.

An internet archive search shows the website available on 6-08 and gone by 1-09. So, sometime between those dates the site disappeared from the net.

Bob sold off the last kits late last year. He was accepting orders until late 2011. He’s still active in the hobby just got out of the stone bridge business.One reason he got out of the bridge business was low demand. The bridges do require a good bit of work to complete. He had some really nice PRR bridges. ---- Ken McCorry

Thanks guys. Not the answer I was hoping for, but at least I know not to go nuts looking for it. I could have really used some of those bridges…very nice. Haven’t seen anything else even remotely similar.
