Model railroad video: Building the HO scale Virginian Ry. part 19

Too bad the project layout is done. There are not a whole lot of videos that you can see. I do understand that Cody is working on the Winter Hill branch so there is not much time to film Cody’s Office. What ever happened to History According to Hediger? I really do appreciate the videos that are there.

Thank You,
Alexander

P.S. I can’t wait for Winter Hill to appear in the magazine and on the website.

Overall a very nice series - sorry to see it end.
One comment about episode 19:
The flat-bottom recess for the pattern pins is a counterBORE, David, not a countersink!

The layout is fantastic, I have really enjoyed watching each installment. I am disappointed though that you did not do a segment on the wiring of the layout partcularly the DCC system. I look forward to the next project

Well done! The video really does not do justice to seeing the layout in person though. It would be a fun layout to operate. Maybe there is an idea for future shows and events where a project layout is dislayed - have some times available for the public to be able to “take the throttle” and operate the layout (under supervision of course).

Keep up the great work and keep 'em rolling!

Great series, I spent many summers watching N&W on the exVGN line to Clarks Gap. This brought back a lot of memories and spurred me to build the layout. I am at part 8 of the video series!

i hate to be the one to say, “hay you guys” but you missed something i was realy hoping to see, in video 18 you told us you where going to show us how you instaled and wired the, nce procab dcc system. im thinking about upgrading to that same dcc system, so would have realy liked to seen that in this viedo. im right now still useing a mrc command 2000. (yea realy old and starting to fail from age at 13 years old) and was hoping to hear more about this nce procab for good reson, but looks like we all wound up getting shorted a bit. over all tho you all do a grate job on the videos, and i realy shouldnt complain in the frist place.

Beautiful layout! I really enjoyed watching it being built last year, Reading the magazine articles & watching the video segments. I hope to be able to see the layout in person sometime. Also enjoyed the music used in the videos. Is it commercially available? Again, Great JOB!

This has been very educational and was glad to follow it through to the end. I hope my layout comes out as good. I already have plans for expansion. The layout was fantastic.

hi, it’s a very nice job , i’d like it !!!
congratulations from FRANCE ( europa ) .

have a nice day

Really good series, and in spite of the fact I live in Northern Ontario, Canada, I am considering building this layout with a Canadian theme if I move to a smaller home. Thank you M.R. staff for a very well done and informative series.

The Virginian layout is really impressive. I especially like the landscape details. Is it possible to purchase all issues pertaining to this project ?
Thank you,
Charles

Great job with the layout. Where are the N & W and Southern hoppers? All NS fans would say that these fallen flags did exchange equipment before the 80’s.

Great job keep them coming

I came late to the party and missed anything on the Turtle Creek portion. Are there any videos of that construction? This group of videos on the Virginian layout was very instructive for me. Thanks for the great job.

That was a very nice video layout.I hope my layout comes out good as this one.

The videos have been a great instruction tool and an inspiration to those of us who as yet are wannabees. I hope you keep them coming. The MR guys have become quite the showmen!

Outstanding! A+++

A typo 7’ (feet) should it not be 7" (inches)

Love it !
