Model Railroader magazine’s 2010 Layout “Progress”

Great job guys!

WOW !

Some great work can be seen in these pics. I love David’s work but I’m also a little biased towards N scale and fall colors. Keep up the great work guys.

This is the first time I had a look at MR Mag’s 2009 Layout progress.I am 79 yo and only got my first computer a short while ago,so I am still learning (very slowly)on how to use it. I am very impressed by the photo’s and articles I am discovering. I have learned a lot by scanning all of the articles and videos you offer, keep up the good work . JH.

This layout is very nice. Wish mine could be like it.

Always look forward to the updates, thanks!

It’s great to see what the staffers are up to in their basements, as well seeing the unfinished areas in an informal format.

Now I’m off out to my man-cave to work on the N scale Seepy Creek as I have a lot of work to do to catch up to Mr Popp.

regards,

Andrew.

What a wonderful way to spend a Saturday! In the future I hope to have a small piece of Great Northern territory rolling along rails laid in my home and friends to share the hobby. Many thanks for the updates and “PRAH-gress” on fellow Railroaders’ layouts - it certainly brings a smile and happy thoughts to me.

Great! I can’t wait for the video!

Very nice article. I always look forward to seeing the progress that’s been made on the layouts. I model in N scale and was a member of the NTRAK club in Madison, WI in the early 1980’s before they built the N scale BN project layout for MR. We lived in Sun Prairie, WI not far from Oconomowoc where you all had breakfast. I always enjoyed the unique town names in Wisconsin like Waunakee (The only Waunakee in the World). When I first looked at the photo of Cody’s breakfast plate, I thought he was eating some really nasty looking pizza with sour cream.

The photo of Chuck’s layout industrial area gave me some ideas for the use of building flats on my own layout. I especially liked the vines growing up the side of one of the buildings. Very realistic touch. I always look forward to seeing what David has accomplished on his layout. When will the video Cody was making be available on the MR website?

Keep up the great work.

I always enjoy the annual tour. Thanks for sharing your personal progress. If it is possible, could you publish those layout plans on the website, so that we may study them?

It is nice to see layouts built by people who work is in the business of model trains. Thanks for sharing your associates home train layouts which are well done.

When will we see the videos that Cody took? The layouts looked great!!

Will David Popp’s N scale New Haven layout turn into the V&O of our times? Wait and see…

Impressive article. I can’t wait to see the video. I like to watch all of the videos in order to see, in fact, how much project has been made over the past several years.

Thanks for wetting our appetite’s with these fine layouts!

Great pictures and comments. I would like to see a video of some of the layouts. (hint, hint!) Keep up the great work.

Great pictures of your personal layouts. I’d love to see Cody’s Video of your trip too. When will that be available for us to enjoy?

Inspirational to us all - great job guys…

Such excellent work needs more information and story telling than these few pictures can describe. I hope to see videos of the layouts or articles on ther design, construction and / or operations soon.

Seems to me to be a great way to spend a Saturday…

Keep 'em rolling!

Dan
