I use excel and every couple of years, purchase a Walthers catalog to get the prices.
Special software for that? I never even thought of that. I just used Excel. I guess Lotus would work too, or that Microsoft Works spreadsheet.
Funny, but I’ve always gotten far more satisfaction from knowing that people were utilizing and gaining benefit from the software I created than from the fact that it was “Mine! All mine!!” If your attitude was purvasive there’d be no Linux, Apache, Mozilla, etc.
Wouldn’t he have to buy FoxPro, too, to run your app? Or will it compile to a freestanding executable? If so, doesn’t FoxPro have a packaging wizard to make distribution painless the way Visual Basic does?
