At the Effingham county fairgrounds as part of the Mill Road Threshermans Association’s steam, gas and threshing show. Generally not a big one as far as trains, but I’ve found some good deals.

Thanks for the heads up. My dad lives in Flora and I have a sister in Effingham. We are planning to go down to see dad (I live in Rockford) this weekend anyway. He was raised on a farm in central Illinois and I think he’ll get a real kick out of seeing the steam threshing show. Are you planning to go?
reminds me of the time I hung out at a local Steam Threshers reunion I went to as a kid, I hung out there, and helped with some steamers.
Would love to be there, sunday my only day open, but nah.

We’re planning on going Sunday for awhile with a couple grandkids in tow. One-step grandson is a city kid and has never been around any old steam tractors.
