A few years ago I was modeling N and found an article in Model Railroader titled Realistic Trees. I sold my small layout and am now going into HO as I have a slight shake and couldn’t handle the small scale. Anyway, I got rid of my MR’s when I sold and I believe the article was in the October 1988 issue. Does anyone have this issue and if so could they send a copy of it to gware@personainternet.com. I am located in Hanover, Ontario and am just starting to go into HO.
Been a lot of discussion here lately as many of us are working on our tree skills. There are many kinds of trees and they have to be made differently. As you progress many of us will be willing to trade what we are learning for what you are learning. I have had good luck with Aggro’s donuts on a stick version of Christmas trees and Caspia in a dowel for White pine. I have had good luck with Queen of the Praire for Birch trees. Lets talk more.
