The Dr. Railroader’s Magic Elixir advertisement was pretty funny and Steve Otte looked like he was really having a “good time” experimenting with it. Ha! Ha! Really got alot out of the segment on how to bend etched metal parts…Thanks alot, Cody, and keep up the great work.
Thanks for another great issue of Cody’s Office. I loved the Magic Elixir, especially the bit showing the label being applied.
In your product reviews, would it be possible to see some of the locos and freightcars running and perhaps the signals and passenger cars lit up. It would make the reviews much more interesting than just having a pencil point at the couplers and wire grab irons that most products have these days.
I do enjoy my weekly viewing of Cody’s office.
Fruit by the Foot goes good with this show. I don’t know what kind of flavor it was though. Also what up with advertisement? And do they make brass kits in n scale?
I couldn’t watch it. Is it because I have a Mac?
Greetings,
Okay, the Dr. Railroader’s Magic Elixir advertisment was too funny.

WAY TO GO GUYS!
The Magic Elixer segment at the end was great. I am glad you covered the BQ23 on the show because I’ve nevered heard of it! I think it is really cool that the MR&T had one. I would love to know more cool stuff about the MR&T. Is there a book or etc about it that is avaliable to the public?
Keep up the good work! P.S. liked the hair Cody.
Hi Cody,
Love your “Cody’s office” episode’s. I have a question for you. As I don’t have the space or the time at the moment to start a layout (two small kids), I have wanted to plan/build one virtually using a CAD program or other type of computer software. Do have any recommendation?
Thanks,
Doug
The little ad about the Elixir was cute, but it would have been better if the label would have fallen off at the end to revel that it was wood alcohol.
Love the end commercial! I’m going to have to look for it at my local hobby shop or Walmart in the First Aid section.
Good work as always guys! Enjoy your long weekend!
I have yet to see a question answered from a Canadian … although you have had many Canadian guests on your ‘show’. Do you think you will ever come to Canada to do a video shoot? And no, that was not pronouced like a boot …
Look forward to seeing more of Cody’s Office!
“Magic Elixir” is great…I´ll import to Brazil…very funny…
I WANT IT!
I hope my local hobby shop get it’s soon.
This show is one of the reasons a Subscrib.
About the segment on bending etched brass…
The part you were bending looked like it would end up with 3 sides.
How do you use the metal straight edge if the detail is not as wide as the straight edge?
Keep up the good work I look forward to your segments.
I am glad that you are not a “rivet counter” on your new product segments.
Thanks
Not available in California, that’s going to upset the govenator!
Keep this elixir away from Cody and the crew while they’re on vacation next week. It can become quite addictive when you try it. You might not want to put it down once you start.
Magic Elixir ?? WOW !!! Where can I get this stuff??? On a serious note - 70% isopropyl or 90%? What would the difference be, if any?
Was the railroader’s magic elixir 90 proof or 70 proof?
“Cody’s Office” is and always has been informative and friendly. The topics covered in each segment are pretty much a synopsis of our hobby and I look forward to every episode. Great Dr. Railroader commercial too. Thanks David & Cody; these episodes keep getting better and better!
Thank you for the modelling tip on the etched metal parts, they are not always easy to work with.
