Hi Jackson,
If you looked under Related Articles, under the viewer, you’ll find a link to the Cody’s office episode index.

Ever think of perhaps doing a segment at a remote location to either show off a layout or prototype?
For the people that do not know what a pot topper is…It is put on top of a flower pot to cover the dirt also works for fake plastic plants too.
Cody, excellent show. with so many codys office episodes, i was wondering if you are going to make, or already have made, a codys office archive?
Very good Job Cody. I still remember that “Unducorated” slip of the tongue. It is said that a slip of the tongue is only a statement of what is on your mind. I can only guess you are a bird watcher.
Cody, your videos are to short! Can you extend to 10 minutes. I like the out-takes at the end.
No questions just saying HELLO!!! Enjoyed the show!
Hi Cody,
Can you tell me whats the best book or magazine to use as reference for building small switching layouts?
Hi Cody, you mentioned something in your demonstration on the grass tuffs that can be purchased at “Michaels” but after replaying several times, I still cannot make out what you said. Can you tell me what it is?
thanks for yr show each week as have helping tips for me as watching all the time went come to my computer as email in Australia in Campbelltown .
asking Cody about book call THE MODEL RAILROADER BLUE BOOK?
The history of this book?
The year that print this book?
The persons who are behind this book?
why is the book is black and yellow and not blue by the name of the book?
all know that it basic reference data for model railroading and think go back to the 1950s at the time what was running on the railroad in the USA.

Hi Cody,
I have an O Scale Layout myself and it seems like some of my MTH Amtrak superliner are bigger and dont run as well on the track than my Athearn O scale cars. Why is this?
Thanks,
Adam
Hey Cody! Why don’t you mention that you are the keynote speaker at the 2010 Mid-Continent Region’s Annual Convention to be held in Cedar Rapids, IA next June 10-13. The banquet is on Saturday evening and is limited to convention registrants, just in case anyone is interested.
Thanks Cody for agreeing to speak! We’re looking forward to your wonderful sense of humor in person next June! Might I suggest a series on anti-history according to Grivno to balance out Hediger’s fun series!
Another good episode. Im impressed that you were able to get the introduction of the PC&F Exactrail box car all in one breath. Im sure it took a couple of takes to get that all. It looked like a mouthfull.
Hi,Cody,
I saw on your last video that on the right side of your computer stands a sheet . Are this the news from Atlas?
Christian!
In response to recent questions:
Guitar music
The intro music for the modeling tip is included with the video- editing software David uses. I haven’t played a guitar since 6th grade music class, so it’s definitely not me.
Foam base
We use extruded-foam insulation board frequently on our layouts. You can find the material at most home centers, such as Menards, The Home Depot, and Lowe’s. Stores located in warmer climates may not stock foam board. If that’s the case in your area, ask an employee at the service desk if they can do a special order.
Small switching layout book
I’d recommend Iain Rice’s new book “Shelf layouts for Model Railroads.” You can purchase the book through our company store (the link as at the bottom right of this page) or at your neighborhood hobby shop.
Pot toppers
These are available at Michaels arts and craft stores.
As always, thanks for your comments and questions. Thanks also for watching the show, visiting our Web site, and reading Model Railroader magazine.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Robert,
The computer wallpaper will return with the next issue.

OK, Cody…I cannot stay silent any longer. I look forward to your show every Friday and enjoy each “episode”…so…how about a longer show?
I just purchased an American Beauty Resistance Soldering system (made right here in the USA) and although pricey, the convenience, safety and reduced fears of soldering track feeders and wiring far outstrips the screams from my wallet. After using this unit, I wouldn’t think twice about this great convenience and ease of use. (look ma, no melted ties) How about a demo for the rest of your viewers?
