As entertaining as it was last year–it is a classic! Thanks for your devotion to the hobby as well as pertinent tips. Hope to see you around Easter.
Still sitting here in the train room laughing let me go fire up the combine the corns getting mighty tall at Model Railroader
by the way Love the hat man it’s stylin.
Mery Christmas and Happy New Year to all of the staff at Model Railroader . Keep up the good work…hope to see more in 2010. I have almost all your magazines from 1943 to present and the articles keep getting better each year.
Good fun Cody, keep the shows coming I do enjoy them, although your not quite ready to replace the late Mr. Stewart. Hmmmmm I wonder if he new much about trains. Ah well, see ya in “2010”.
merry christmas an happy new year
We dont mind the beard, but it is what “she who must be obeyed” who has the final say.
Merry christmas to you all from “Down Under”
Hey Cody, to you and everybody at MR, have a great Christmas and a very trainfull 2010.
Leon Nel
Ok Cody well done, but Hollywood I don’t know…LOL
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year all…
I remember this one, from last year. wow they didn’t think to make a new one?
So… the beard’s a seasonal thing is it. Well I guess I can grudgingly live with that.
A small price to pay for the pleasure of watching what you’ll all get up to next.
But it was fun! Thought I had you there a couple of times.
I’m still waiting though for the whiskers that have been removed from time to time, to turn up being used in that Noch Grassmaster of yours. Maybe April 1st ?
This was an easy target to poke fun of, it’s gonna be harder next year. Maybe have to look at David instead ( or as well ) Hmmmmm.
There was one bright spot in your little Christmas Story. At least Neil got his come uppance for all the tricks he’s played on you. I’m convinced he was behind the “cardboard Cody” when you went off and got married. He had the most devilish little smirk on his face as he stood holding it up with David.
And he hides that behind a beard!!
Model Railroading is meant to be FUN ! May you and all the team have and bring more in the new year.
I look forward to the MR e-mail each week and most specifically Cody’s Office. Its a fun segment and quite interesting as well. I even learned that I’ve been mispronouncing Kato wrong all along. (Actually I think I’m right and they’re wrong, but I’m not going all the way to Japan to argue the point.) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! and don’t forget - HO HO HO or N N N etc.
The last Hobby Shop in our area closed down about a year ago. It’s sad when you tell us that new items are “available at our local Hobby Shop now”. Well there aren’t very many local Hobby Shops still around. And, they’re inventories are very small. Cody’s office is still the best part of your website. I enjoy EVERY episode.
It’s ‘A wonderful Life’ being a model railroader!
Well done guys, excellent. Have a great holiday and thanks for the best mag in the hobby.
I loved it last year, and it’s worth repeating. I’m glad you didn’t jump off a bridge.
I remember this episode from last year too. Considering the MR staff deserves to enjoy the holiday like the rest of us. I wouldnt think there was all that much time to get a new episode out since this is a short work week. I can handle a “rerun” episode.
Great story, seems familiar though…? Good tips as usual and some good products to view, but you didn’t show us how to wrap them up.
Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year
Chris
Enjoyed viewing the video! Good job!
CODY
I beleave I will have a hard time seeing you in JANUARY 2009.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Love the steam whistle, when it rings a train guy gets his wings.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night
Merry Christmas and a happy New Year at Model Railroader.
