Modeler’s spotlight video for February 26, 2009 – Inside Cody’s office

Hey Cody,Great show keep up the good work.
I would like to see more tips on modeling
love the outtakes

I’m with Mr. Gould in wishing to see the 5000th episode. I have to confess that by watching your show my interest not only increased in model railroading but also in the magazine. I do have a subsription but find myself buying the latest issue at a the first store I see it displayed at. I let friends read the second copy and I also taken them to work to share as reading material. Again keep up the good work so we can see that 5000th show that should air in the year 2058!

I’m plan on this every week now, Wish I could TIVO it

Great program. I guess I’ll have to go back to the begaining as I missed some. Keep up the good work, Enjoy the input and helps to see the new products.

Hi Cody, great show as always! Very informative and entertaining… watch out for those elevators! Growing up with the Wisconsin Central, one of my favorite locomotives is the SD45. Can you tell me what advantage having flared radiator grills gave it opposed to vertical grills? It seems in the past few years the flared grills are making a small come back with the SD70M-2’s, BL20GH’s and even the newer GE’s? Thanks!

Great 50th episode Cody!
can you give some modeling tips on scratchbuilding tunnels?
I look forward to next week’s episode>

Happy Anniversary , I look forward to every video each week.
Its also cool when you do some out takes on your videos.
Keep up the good work

Congratulations!! May you do 5000 more episodes!

I look forward to your great videos. Although we have had a lot of snow here in the East, your tromping over snowbanks plus the view from your background window reminds me you have to deal with a lot more. Guess it’s an incentive to stay indoors and do our modeling.

Great video as usual, and thanks for the link to the first one.

Well done Cody and congratulations. “Cody’s Ofice” is just one more aspect of Model Railroader that I love. I especially appreciate the “modeler’s tip” each week; I am building my third layout now after # 2 had to be taken apart (models saved, layout scrapped) for a move from Quebec to Alberta back in 1985 and the advice is always helpful. It’s been quite a while and a lot has changed!

Congrats for your 50th videocast. By the way, the products section is not new anymore.

Congrats Cody, Boy you sure have lost your nervousness from episode 1, keep up the great work eh…

Cody, Happy 50th anniversary, and many more to come. I’m sure. can you possibly show some of the MR staffs layouts in future episodes. Keep up the great work.

I also congratulate you on these videos. I’ve been a subscriber to Model Railroader Magazine for some time but just became aware of your web site late last year. I haven’t started a layout yet but recently retired so have plenty of time to plan. I too like your outtakes.

Congrats Cody! Keep the episodes coming - they are the most entertaining source of hobby news.

I love the episodes and the outtakes! Keep them coming! But one quick question. Please tell us how, in that first episode, it was possible to have a viewer letter asking about the blue ball in your window?

I really enjoy every new “show” from Cody’s office. A lot of informations presented in a very entertaining way.
Thank you cody and team.

Congrats Cody on your 50th Show. You should also consider explaining DCC by MRC or Digitrax so people with DC can get an idea of a System. I have a small N scale layout could you maybe do an episode on wireing a decoder to an N scale layout?
