Modeler’s spotlight video for May 14, 2009 – Inside Cody’s office
Cody,
Great show again. Looking forward to the next video of the Dream Plan Build series. I have started with #1 and have all up to the current date. Those of you Model Railroaders are missing a lot if you do not subscribe to the series.
Looking forward to the next “Cody Office” thanks and keep up the great work.

When I first received this e-mail in the early am there wasn’t any video. Now there is (10:30 P. M.). What’s up?
Your hair and shirt kept changing during this shoot. Make-up and continuity, please. I know I’m nit picking, but it it only out of admiration, my hero. At least you have a layout. Dave should get his ceiling finished. It has been very distracting in all of his layout vids.
Keep up the good work as usual. Love the bloopers.
Thanks, Do you have a web site for the Dream Plan Build Videos? I have a few of them, not all thanks to eBay.

With regard to the reviewed Athearn 53’ Reefer Trailers, I found it interesting how the bogies on these models slide back and forth. I assume that this reflects prototype practice?
I’m pretty sure that here in Australia our trailers don’t have that capability. What would be the purpose of this feature?
Thanks
Greg Harper
I enjoyed the video shoot footage, thank you. Would you ever consider accepting video from outside sources, not for profit, but for interesting visits to other modeling loctions from throughout the world? I think it wouild be very interesting. Also, can I expect a new “Dream Plan Build” DVD in my mailbox sometime soon??
Keep up the great work guys!
I love to watch the Cody segments. I have all of the volumes of the Dream, Plan, Build series including the prototype videos. I look forward to each issue. They are both well done and very informative. Keep up the great work!!

Hey Guys,
I can feed you several meals for layout help.
Come on by.
Dear Cody,
I think this show was one of the best yet. Several reasons for this were are the special, 4 products, and your new approaches to the special, viewer mail, and your attire. Keep up the good work.

Hello Cody, I enjoy your office segments very much, especially the new products reviews.
Can I get one of those cups with your picture on it?
I thought “unduckerated” was a layout that has had its duckunder removed.
Love the Dream Plan Build Real Rails dvd’s. What’s next and when might we expect it?

Hody from Canada Eh?
I did not realize how much work that the show takes. Good job on 60 shows also.
Hello! I enjoyed this weeks episode it was fun to see what goes on behind the scenes!
Cody, I’ll glady pop for a meal if you’ll come out and help me with MY layout.
Great video Cody!
I really enjoy each episode.
Cody: I remember that the WSOR layout have a lift up bridge, and i need to do one on my layout, can you show me it with more details ?
thank you.
Martin
Hi Cody,
A question about making decals for a layout. What do you recomend and what size font do you use for HO?
Thanks Mike
I learn lots of new things from your Cody’s Office Show.
I think there is far greater potential for the video presentations. They add more impact to the product reviews especially when accompanied by video - or done outright as video.
I’d like to see Cody’s shop and/or layout.

Production tips: If you “White Balance” the camera each time you shoot indoors and outdoors, you won’t have a blue looking shot outdoors, and your lighting will look right indoors. Also, if your office window has the shade closed when you shoot, your face will not look dark, but well lit.
