Modeler’s Spotlight Video – Inside Cody’s Office for October 2015

Cody-
I have a quick scenery tip for you. Great episode as well. This summer I figured out a cheap alternative for resin water. Elmer’s Clear Glue. The glue is not white, but completely transparent. It has now dried to the same texture as resin, and I applied it just like you would any other water product. Unfortunately, this type of Elmer’s is pretty hard to find. I found mine at Michael’s, but you will have great luck at www.elmer’s.com.

Thanks again!!

Happy Birthday Cody. Thanks for answering my RIP question and I understand not being able to say “Wabbit” with a straight face, too funny. Thanks for a gweat segment.

So Cody…what do you want for your birthday you waskily wabbit?

Happy Birthday. My birthday is this month too.

I thought you guys were joking about Jack Wabbit, at first, then you showed the product, all I have to say is someone is a hardcore Looney Tunes fan, TTTTThat"s All Folks"!!!

Dear Cody
It seems to me that over the last few years you and the others have rehab the entire MR&T layout. What are going to do when their nothing left to do on the layout?

Cody: l was wondering if you folks revisit older project railroads. In a 1986 Kalmbach book, they did the Kitty Hawk Central. I thought you and Mr. Popp might redo this layout with modern scenery techniques and building options. Love Cody’s Office. Take care, and model on…

Cody I did have a laugh myself on “Wabbit” reminded me of ole day of Elmer Fudd, looney tunes. Great segment, I did see my comment and question about whey there are no national shows ever in the DFW area. Be nice alot closer, we have a lot of great layouts in the area as well. Just curious.

Jwack Wabbit, had a feeling that would be more than one take. Happy Birthday, Cody. R.I.P. tracks are a great modeling idea on any railroad. From one simple track to a large car department with buildings/ overhangs, even a paint facility (UP Little Rock).

Mr. Cody, thank you wery much for the weply to my wequest on 70’s & 80’s weehicles, I did manage to find some 70s & 80’s weehicles here and there at warious wobby shops, however I still think these two decades are wover wooked by wajor wanufacturers that produce other eras. Sorry I was typing in Jack Wabbit font…Anyways thank you for the info…(helpful as it was I have most those vehicles already) Hey, tell Drew to hit New England for some good old New England Autumn Trackside Adventures. There’ll be some great colorful shots…On a more serious note I wanted to express my condolences, and pass along thoughts and prayers to all of you at MR due to your recent loss of your colleague, co worker, and friend Any Sperandeo. I wish you all and his family all the best and this difficult time…

Is that a rolodex over your right shoulder? Didn’t know those still existed in the modern world of computers.

Happy Birthday Cody. How is your layout coming along at home in your basement?

The Jack Wabbit is just too good. It is so funny. “Kill the Wabbit. Kill the Wabbit.”

here is a idea cody or david, put all the bloppers in one and let’s see how they make us laugh

I thank cody and any one would do it

Where September?

Modelers thinking of buying an HO model of a General Electric U25C might want to compare Cody’s comments on the Korea Brass model with Dana Kawala’s review of the latest Rivarossi version, which is still posted on this web site under Reviews.

Cody, enjoyed meeting you at the train show in Portland…keep up the good work. By the way, who is the lovely young lady in the picture on you board in the background?

Happy Birthday Cody!
How do I post questions for viewer mail ?

i agree. A “Blooper Reel” would be most enjoyable.
