Modeler’s Spotlight Video–Inside Cody’s Office for September 2013

hey Cody cool episode keep it up!!!

Cody; thank you for the tip on the Econoflex wire. I’ve been experimenting with braded 50lb test fishing line. But it seems to be wax coated and is hard to work with.

No outtakes?

Great tip about the Econoflex wire! I’m modelling the Pennsy in 1956, and it works perfect for the post-and-cable roadside “guardrails” of that era.

But no out-takes??? OMG!!

What no outtakes???

another good one cody

I’d love to visit the MR offices, just to see that Cody’s Workshop car running on the layout! Cheers!

Hey Cody…I can’t belive that you got through an episode of Cody’s office without 1 out take. I hope that they haven’t stopped showing them as this is my favorite part of Cody’s office.

Who mows your lawn? Or, in other words, how do you find the time to do these videos? They are much appreciated and as grass growth slows and snow falls delayed yours truly can get into the swing of things. Keep up the good work.

What no bloopers? Excellent again, thanks guys!

What, no out-takes?

Nice find on the braided wire!

Cody, Nice to see you back from Atlanta. Great modeling tips and new products out. Are you only doing monthly videos of Cody’s office now, or was that from August rolling of your video. Anyway see you next time.

Cody, you done it again. Well done and I love the way you tell us were to get items you show.

Is there any way to take a billboard sign and make it have the appearance of a painted billboard on the side of a building?

Hey, Cody – I’ve been wondering for a long time: in the opening video sequence, how do you get that runaway boxcar to slow down just before it rams into the train you’re running at the end of the clip? Do you have air jets planted between the rails, like in some model hump yards – or are you using a bit of movie editing magic? JHF

Why do I keep getting “INVALID CONTENT SEGMENT”?
Haven’t been able to watch a Cody’s Office now for 3 or 4 months. It runs for a while, freezes but the loading circle keeps running until I get the above message. Almost got 2 minutes this month. Trying again at a different time = same thing! What gives?

Cody, I was just thinking. Did you show in a passed Cody’s Office the new type of couplers that are separate from the air hoses? I thought the end of the air lines are magnetic? If so, is this next gen I should start looking into while I am modeling my layout? Thank you

Cody:
Why were there no outtakes in the September 2013 video?
If you guys lose that MR humor, it will be a sad day in the Model Railroading World…=(
