OK so it’s off topic (I was working on my HO scale refinery last night) and watching the Rose Bowl from the kitchen table…I cannot contain myself by letting this pass but that was one of the best football games i’ve ever seen!..didn’t think the Longhorns were gonna pull it off but in the end…Texas 41 USC 38… CA…who’s your daddy now!!!..(couldn’t resist rubbing that in)…[:D]…chuck
Chuck,
That Vince Young is just one AMAZING athlete! He single-handedly beat USC with his hands AND feet. SWEET!!! Perfect ending to a great 2005/2006 BCS bowl playoff series…and payback for the ND loss in the regular season! [tup][tup] Also made the Buckeye loss to Texas at the beginning of the season more palatable. [:)]

I noticed you said a refinery kit, Walthers[?] I used an N scale version on my layout to save space, still looks good despite the size difference.[:D]
it is somewhat of a kit bash and scratchbuild combination…I’m using 1 plastruct refinery kit, 2 vollmer refinery kits, and a bunch of plastruct and evergreen styrene plastic…I work in the refinery industry and none of the kits out there represent the true workings of a refinery so i’m scratch building a lot of the stuff that’s not included in the kits to make it as prototype as possible…i’ve been working on it since early October and am about 1/2 way thru with it…it’s the hardest modeling i’ve ever done because of all the piping and trying to figure out the arrangement of such…chuck
