I saw where someone was using plaster repair screen…probably not the right name. It is a diagonally perforated, flexible metal material. You can find it at most hardware and building supply houses. When you pull it diagonally it opens up and looks really good.

This is a great site with lots of scenery materials. You could browse it for hours. They are only listing a chain link fence add-on, but reference 384’ scale feet of fence available. The source is Brennans Model Railroading.
Somebody out there sells a modular chain link fence in O guage. I ran across it looking for figures (dolls) before I knew about Aristta. It will take me a while to duplicate my research, but I remember O guage figured in it prominently because I kept getting HO hits
