What are the latest modern day locos to come out. GE or EMD I’m talking about 1:1 here.

An interesting question. EMD currently shows the SD70ACe and the SD70-2 in their catalog for general freight locos. They also have passenger and foreign models which may be “newer”.

GE is showing the Evolution series,that would be the ES44AC and DC and their Hybrid but promising the NextGen series.

Of Course manufacturers are always “upgrading” a model, so one could argue each batch of a given loco model is represents the “newest” locomotive.
