Modern Diesel horn & sounds CD for the train room ?

I’d like to have a CD playing in the train room with sounds of train action. It can be start-up, coupler clash, running the rails (clickity clack) especially horn. Since I’ll be running modern diesels (post 80’s) I prefer diesels sounds only. As much as I like Steam, I think I’ll stick with diesel right now.

I searched the internet. Most are Steam or a combination of Steam and Diesel.

Can anyone reccommend a CD (or DVD) appropriate for background sounds in the layout room?

Your thoughts are appreciated.

David, I record train sounds off U Tube my self.

Have you tried the MRC sound system? They aren’t too expensive and they have diesel and steam sound. As a matter of fact, I have one I can part with and can sell you for …let’s say …$30.00? (I’ll pay the shipping) I have 2 of them that I hardly ever use from my pre DCC sound decoder days and it’s just sitting there collecting dust right now. E-mail me if you are interested and we’ll set it up.

The best way to have sound is by using DCC sound decoders or purchase a locomotive with DCC and sound. All my locomotives in consists have at least one locomotive with sound. It really brightens up a train room when the noise sounds like that of a class 1 railroad…chuck
