Does anyone know where i can find modern automobiles in N scale?
Go to a train show, one that attracts a number of vendors. Hobby shops (at least the ones in this area) tend to carry only a small selection of scale automobiles and trucks. And you can only have so many Athern fire trucks or Atlas semi-tractors per layout. But I have found that for whatever reason train shows tend to offer the largest selection of scale vehicles. And from different manufacturers that you don’t often see in the LHS.
Sometimes you can find things that are inexpensive as well. The last train show I attended there was a vendor selling cast resin vehicles. I picked up a nice little boom truck for my utility company for under $5. I just had to paint it myself. Compare that to the Athern product on the LHS shelf, with a $15-$20 price tag on it.
try hobby lobby they have one or two kinda modern. i got two cars in a set for 1.33ish(don’t ask how)
