Looking specifcally for workers with the remote control boxes and/or orange work vests. Anyone know of who makes them or a product # associated to them that might simplify my search? Thanks.

HO scale right?
To my knowledge, no one makes any figures with RC control boxes.
There are a few from Preiser with orange vests.
It looks like it would be rather easy to add RC control boxes to these figures since they are in HO.

Just found out that Bachmann has a set of HO scale workers with orange vests. And they look a little more US style then the Preiser figures.
Too bad they all of these have hard hats. If they didn’t, they would be perfect for modern switch crew figures.
Heck, with a pair of rail clippers, you could decapitate these little guys and glue replacement heads on them. Seriously.

When I worked for the CSX I ntermodal yard here in Bedford Pk IL few years ago, everyone that was not
in a vehicle, in an engine or indoors, had to wear a hard hat and orange vest. No matter what you were doing or what your job title was. It was mandatory and was inforced. 3 times and goodbye…NUFF SAID

You could also try sanding or filing the helmets into being more like ballcaps…although to be honest, if you just repainted the hardhats to look like baseball caps (like blue with a red bill or green and yellow etc.) most folks probably couldn’t tell the difference from typical viewing distance.
