Modern Union Pacific Passenger Trains?

All,

I’d like to model some of the modern Union Pacific passenger excursion trains and specials that they have been running the past couple decades. I model in N scale and was wondering if anyone knew which passenger sets would be appropriate for this? I am not attempting to recreate a specific train or anything. Just one the has a plausible mix of cars in the consist and correct cars for the era. I know Kato, Rapido and Intermountain make some nice smooth side Union pacific passenger cars, but don’t have enough detail on the current cars they are running to know if these would work, or which is more correct.

If anyone has any advice or knows of a good web site detailing the current cars it would be appreciated.

Here’s the official UP site that talks about their current passenger cars:

You’ll note that they say what each car started out as. If you want to get pictures of the cars in their current condition to see how much they’ve changed, I’d recommend doing an image search with the term “UP” or “Union Pacific” and the name of the car.
