That tight curve looks like it could be made better with some minor trackage rework.
Another video that makes me never want sound, but it was an enjoyable one to watch.

I find that video grossly accentuates the high end, robbing diesel motors of all their gruff rumble. And even the happy swish and clickety of my metal wheels, which I find very soothing, is terribly shrill and annoying on video, like I’m standing next to someone using a pressure washer. So it’s always worse in video, but I too can do without digital sound.
I enjoy his videos in general, though, and I liked this one. Thanks for posting!

I’ve had to do some minor “butchering” to a couple of Walthers passenger cars, while the few Rapido cars I have make it through everything just fine.
I’m with you on sound. If you could turn it down/off as the train “gets out of sight” would be one thing, but on any layout videos I’ve watched, you can hear it as the train as it goes around the entire layout.
Some videos are just plain obnoxious when they have a few locos on the track, sitting around, all with the sound on.
None of this is anything like being trackside.
Mike.
Nice work on the changes. Thanks for posting. How tight is that curve?
