i want to modify Athearn’s PS2 covered hopper to look like Reading’s version of the PS2, there’s a picture of it at http://crcyc.railfan.net/crrs/cov/rdg78671.jpg. i know i can file down the side ribbing, but does anyone know where i can find the hatches on the top of the car? they are round, flat hatches, but are different from the round hatches found on ACF covered hoppers.
or, does anyone know of any company that manufacturers this type of hopper in HO?
