Chris, Welcome to the forum. I never would have thought I’d run into you here. In case you haven’t heard I moved down here last January. I am now the manager / chief engineer for Chula Vista Cable. It’s a cool job and I’m working with some real good people, not like a certain a hole we know (by the way I still owe him a — kicking for all that cr** he started). I took the pix when I went to see Dave Roy and Kathy, my ex girlfriend in Dorris. How did you get the job offer? Would you be based in Alturas?

[:D] I tell you it’s a Small world!!! I was just surfing the web and seen this spot and took a look. Looks like a good place to and will keep coming back to visit!!I stiil have the job but think about the RR one… could be a good career [:)] Only worry is they are shortline .
I think today the Modoc Northern is making its first trip up to Lakeview. They are going to be operating the Lake County Railroad.

Ccolt1 is a friend of mine I have known for like 20 years. I just chatted with him and you are right they are going to be operateing the Lakeview branch. I heard this elsewhere and thought it was just a rumor. I guess it’s not. Interesting turn of events. Does Jeff know anything about this?
