Module N scale

Greetings from the South tip of Africa:

I need some advice and tips please on modeling the Tehachapi loop for the N gauge Guild of South Africa which I am a member of.

The majority of our group model American and I decided after paging throug old Model Railroad mags that the loop will be a very intresting module and of course a challenge to build.

We do a lot of public exhibition during the year and the modules must be light but also able to handle some rough handeling.

Any info or links to plans will help, what will the grade be for instance 2% or more?

Tips and info. will be greatly appreciated
