any help thanks, carl[8D]
As a rule. I dont have any non-powered locomotives on my layout. Limits my flexibility to much. However, I have had run two dummys and one powered before and have not had this problem. Do these problems occure on curves?

Yes james, they seem to be the most problem,i losened.up the load by 2 cars ,seemed to help,
There you have it then, Curves add drag to a train as well. So you can be going up a grade just fine, then hit a curve and stall, To get around it. Add more powered units.

I dont run any dummys either. I did when I was just getting started, but then I got into DCC and consisting. Running anything with everything, lots of fun…
