It’s a wonder Gov. Susanna Martinez didn’t try to torpedo the new station.
From what I can gather, this line needs a lot of help to make it more popular and perhaps less of a burden to taxpayers in New Mexico.
Ppl fail to realize transportation ie commuter rail is not set up for profit or at least it shouldn’t be. It’s set up to get ppl from point A to point B. The interstate highways don’t make money but yet out tax $$ are used to lay more concrete no matter how many vehicles use it.

The Railrunner project is a bargainn compared to the cost of building a new toll road that only the affluent and those who sing Sammy Hagar’s “I can’t drive 55” will use. Cancel the I-25 toll lanes project now!
