I’m here the first time. I’m located in Sydney Australia & model HO Scale concentrating on NSW G’ment Railway 1965-1974.
I’m currently building a new layout titled “Mooseville”. I had to completely tear apart its predecessor so a new ceiling could fitted in my train room.
My nickname is Moose, hence Mooseville being name of the layout. It is coming along but you all understand the time & frustration involved.

Welcome to the forum, Greg! I hope you can keep us informed with photos of your progress on the layout.
Also, each weekend there is a thread called Weekend Photo Fun. It’s great to share photos of your layout. Don’t be intimidated – there are completely finished professional-looking layouts and also just simple layout or rolling stock photos. It doesn’t matter, we enjoy seeing any and all model railroading photos.

I’ll keep you up to date & post pics as I go.
I picked that time frame because it is the crossover period of steam to diesels. That way I can run steam & the early diesels. That’s the plan, we’ll see how it goes.
