What about the sound? if its on a dc track then no sound? thats my question. right now I have no layout but do have a 4 foot test track and use this to keep my collection of locos in good running condition. any way am I gonnna have to get a dcc system to acess the sound features on a t55 model?

The two Tower55 models I have use the Digitrax SoundFX decoder. According to the Digitrax manual that I downloaded from their web site, the decoder will run on a DC layout but the sounds will not start until approximatley 5 volts is applied to the track, and the sounds you can use will be limited.

As long as we are on the subject of Tower 55!

When Overland Models launched Tower 55 a couple of years back they said that they would eventually branch out to N Scale. Anything else been said about this?
