More Bombs in London

I’m afraid the BBC 's web site reports that three or more separate incidents have happened a short time ago. I’m sorry I don’t do techie and can’t suggest how to link.

Yahoo is saying no casualties

Great! That’s all we need. More mass Hysteria in this country.
Allan.

No real news yet, other than there were some explosions.
Speculation that this might be a copy cat…or a real attempt that wasn’t as successful as before.
Wait to see what Scotland Yard and the London Police release…
ABC News states that these bombs were smaller than the others, London Police Chief states these four bombs were smaller, and did less damage.

Ed

Scary! Hopefully there won’t be any news of casualties and this will be the last of these attacks!

Instead of there being a level red for attack imminent; maybe it should be more appropriately slime green to depict pond scum attacking…

Stay strong and resolute my U.K friends.

Latest report from yahoo was there were no casualties, just some panic, three stations evacuated and one bus. They happened within a few hours of each other, but not simultaneously, and at least one may have been an accident.

They saying now only detenators not bombs[:(][:(!]

In the whole hour I was getting ready for work that was the only thing they talked about on the news. And in all that time the only solid information they conveyed was that there was a small explosion and a broken window, no injuries, and the underground was evacuated. They are probably still rambling on and on and not reporting a d** thing. The media are such morons it’s pathetic.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4703777.stm if you want the BBC’s take on it

They are reporting no casualties and two people arrested so far.

Great - I have a family member travelling in that area soon. Certainly does a lot to soothe the nerves…

As I’ve said before, some people live just to create havoc. If one cause goes away, they’ll just find another one to use as an excuse to ply their trade.

Good to see no one was seriously injured. Four duds…I hope the Brits can track these guys down before they try to make up for it…

Stay strong guys

Dan

A real[D)] of a bomb maker. Couldn’t get them to work. Hope they catch them. Did you hear that the other bombs that went off before were not intended to be suicide it is suspected that the people thought that they were delivering the bombs, instead they went off by mistake (stupid bomb maker again) or it was planned. This has been known to happen in Iraq, some of the bombers have defected and told how they were told to be making a delivery instead it blows up. These terrorist will practice taking the bomb on trains or driving through check points after a few times it just goes boom. It just goes to show what cowards these guys are. Glad no one was hurt.
James[C):-)]

The London Police said, the bombs were intended to kill. Certainly no bad joke. Lets pray further attempts to place bombs will fail againn

I heard on the news today that one of the bombers was caught by the police and the other one was caught by citizens who proceeded to beat the crap out of him.

'nuff said

They get what they deserve. They dont deserve sweat off of our socks[}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)][}:)]

Fortunately the [censored] that made them was incompetent.

Nothing can compare with 9/11 but I agree that the media do keep on waffling over the same information.Life goes on here in UK as it did in the big Apple at the time.
If you think about things as they are in real life, people have to work, they can not stay at home ,terrorists or not. A fatalistic point of view helps I think having experienced such traumas in my 67 years.
I do worry a little about a dirty bomb in London but I think if I was coming to London to have a Holiday in the next week or two from the States, it will be far safer than a few weeks ago. The security levels are so much higher now.
I think it may be a little stupid though to walk down Whitehall with a rucksack on your back like the chap yesterday who was arrested in a rather dramatic way.
I include the London Evening Standards Website below plus the BBC for those interested.

great…havn’t been home for a few days. Was it middle east/muslim related?

The pictures given out looked Afro-Caribbean mostly but of course Muslims seemed to be mentioned in connection with them. The man shot dead today apparently was not one of the four Yesterday but allegedly connected in some way to them. The discussion was that a head shot was needed to prevent him blowing himself up with everyone else. I.E. The Police chasing him. This is a possible new policy for armed anti-Terrorists situations.
Whether any explosives were found on the body has yet to be confirmed.
The “Human rights” people are out in force as usual but I feel for all the majority Muslims blighted by extremists who are obviously not known to them.
Years ago Esperanto was talked about to make everyone have the same language.
What it needs is an Esperanto religion but this of course is never going to happen so perhaps better tolerance and understanding of all our different beliefs would be a substitute.
I keep thinking about 9/11 downtown Iraq and the London bombs last week.Imagine going to work leaving your family as usual and being blown to bits or atomised. The impact on family life must be dreadful. I am not terribly religious but by golly it could make me think that way.
