More trees and a great sunset.

There are a few loggers arriving at the Sublime Logging camp. There are more trees on the hill, and then a great sunset. Glad someone took a picture.

Sweet scene! How long does it make to make those foreground trees?

I agree with Aggro… Great scene!!

I assume you mean the White and Red Pine. About 1/2 hour per tree if I make them in bunches of about 10. They are very putsy but I get a great kick out of making them, once I learned how. Getting the tops right was a problem for me.

that is one incredible piece of work. What a pleasure to look at.

Very, very nice! Great work on the pines and an all around fine scene. I used to make some pines from asperagras fern that looked a little like those. Yours are better though.

Great looking scene Art , I obviously love the scenery. I did A similar thing with the pine trees but I used the bare caspia spigs and dipped the branch tips in dark green static grass. I think mine came out lookin more like a fir tree, yours look more like true pines, excelent work (is it really work? [;)]

You can also use the caspia sprig method for other types of trees, heres my attempt at a hickory tree.

always room for improvement, maybe they’ll look better when ‘planted’ lol.

Changing my mind from a coal mine to a logging area very rapidly after seeing yours and maandg’s scenes recently.

Keep up the great work,
Karl.

Art–almost caused me to short out my computer while I was drooling on my keyboard! REALLY nice! Beautiful work. The whole scene is just terrific.

art- thats very nice !

UK guy. Using static grass for the fir trees is great. I had not thought of that, but now I will try some. Part of what I love about northern Minnesota is the great variety of trees in the forest. That idea will give me about 3 more to ad.

I agree. Great job on those new trees. That area was pretty bare.

This post deserves another run through.

My eyes zeroed in on the shacks. They’re excellent. A bit cold in the winter, I’d suspect, being up near the edge like that.

wow ! excellent trees and a very nice overall scene . how long till MR does an article on your layout ? [:)]

You really have the touch! Very nice work!
