Morocco’s King Mohammed launches Casablanca light rail line

I just came back from Morocco and was impressed with their railroad operations.

And we care why??

Would you know we’re riding on the Marrakesh Express? Would you know we’re riding on the Marrakesh Express? They’re taking me to Marrakesh.

Always liked that CSN song now maybe I can ride it!

I hope this system will be as successful in alleviating Casablanca’s urban traffic congestion as was Tunisia’s light rail installation in the 90s. Ride it again, Sam! Thanks, Newswire, for including international rail news. It’s all my world and I like to know what’s happening in it.

It is always great to hear about new light rail systems and other railway projects being developed and opened anywhere in the world. These observations are not limited to America. Anything less is myopic.

Because they are trains!

Why? Because those of us who have a GENUINE interest in all forms of rail transportation are interested and care, whether the system and/or activity is in Chicago, Buenos Aires, Durban, Osaka, Melbourne, Tel Aviv, Manchester, or elsewhere.

I too am glad to read about light, heavy, any form of public transportation. I’m a public transportation advocate (NARP), member. Therefore, I like to see what’s going on in the rest of the world in public transportation, while we become a third world country!
