I’m into automation and I use robotic gears. I buy assortments off eBay and some come with pulleys and belts.

Both sellers have about two week delivery form China.

Mel,

I bought the parts in the very first link You posted…just for the cog rail that the scratch/bash bridge needed to lift it. All those parts are very finely made without any flash. Also used many gears from them also for the bridge. I recommend them.

The cog rail is sandwiched between the two truss girders (pointed down) that are pulled into the control tower with more gears and two electric motors.

I’m working on an animated figure for a bedroom in one of my scratch built homes. I‘m using a small piece of the cog rail to rotate the figure as it moves around the room.

Your right about the precision of the gears, the quality is excelent.

I have a 20 RPM gear motor on order but its not due until December 20th. I put together a couple of gears with a 3.7g micro servo and it works pretty good.
