Anybody got a link to a source for movie marquee or movie advertising billboards? Only need a couple. Perhaps a process using “Paint” or some other software for the marquee. Actual repo of the real thing would be preferable for the ads/billboards.
A suggestion: Google, ''Movie Marquee/Billboards Images" and view hundred’s of them. If You have a color printer, You can make them any size You desire. I do it alot, for interior shots for industry buildings. Be sure to include ‘‘Images’’ in Your query.
Take Care! [:D]

Btw: A pic’ of a backdrop building with images for Industrial shots for warehousing was done with a print from a Google Image search. The fork-lift is a cast metal model. The building is only two inches deep, with a scracth-built floor, same height as dock.
More specifically, Google images for specific movie titles that you want to billboard. I just tried Gone With the Wind and came up with a couple of good 24-sheet billboard ads and even more of the sheets that used to be displayed next to the words on the marquee and in the showcases under it. You can probably get the same for any megamovie that specifically fits your era.
There are hundreds of city scenes including theater marquees and some great railroad photos here as well. Click on the Signs, neon, billboards gallery.
These are kind of tiny, but I printed them on cardstock and applied it to the walls of my theater.
I like the “painted on” look of applying a decal to a brick wall or wood plank fence. Again, it’s just an image from the Internet, downloaded and sized on the computer and then printed, this time on decal paper. I painted a white rectangle on the wall where the decal would go to restore the color balance.
try the Miler Engineering web site. They have many illuminated and animated signs. If you don’t find a suitable marquee ask if they can make one for you.
