MoW books?

Does anybody know of any good books on MoW equipment. I would really appreciate something with good diagrams or pictures that would help me identifiy equipment. I am also particularly interested in CSX and NS, but I am sure that their equipment has much in common with other roads.

And on a related note, do any of you have the “Chessie System Color Guide to Freight Equipment?” Is it worth the fifty bucks?

Thanks![;)]

Look at the “Track Data Handbook”…only will get you as far forward as 2000, but has sketches and details…Otherwise, get your hands on Progressive Railroading’s anual Track Yearbook & Buyer’s Guide

Thanks Mud! That is exactly that I was looking for. I always love checking out MW stuff, and I would like to find out some more on what is in my photographs.[:D]

Another good one is ‘Railway Maintenance’ by Brian Solomon and published by MBI. Lots of good pics and info.
