Hello,
I am a big rail buff (especially transit). One of my favorite areas is MOW equipment. I have the Solomon book, “Railway Maintenance” but I was wondering if anyone knows of any industry journals or magazines pertaining to railroad MOW?

Railroad Track & Structures is a very entertaining read…I’ve picked a few old issues up at local Train shows…Plenty of articles about and ads for interesting M.O.W equipment…
The RT&S website is a good place to start. There are several regular posters here who are specialists in various railroad construction and MOW functions. They certainly have the expertise to answer your questions when they are posted.

Thanks for all the info! I started looking some of the magazines up and have some good leads. Finding info on MOW equipment is not easy! Thanks also for the welcome! I have been wanting to sign up for a while now. Just hadn’t gotten around to it.
