I’m not sure if this post fits on this forum but are photocopies of articles available from Kalmbach from the older issues of the magazines. I would like to get some of the old dollar car articles especially the one from August 1954(O scale Soo Line Caboose). I know they are old articles but I would like to try building some of the cars (even though i model in n scale mainly). This question is mainly for the MR staffers i guess.

Yes, believe the link to it is right on the main Model Railroader web page. ANy issues they actually have in stock you can buy the whole issue, almost everything else they can make photocopies of specific articles.
I tend to buy old issues at train shows to fill out my collection. There’s always something interesting, even in those old issues. And since I model the 50’s, articles in the 50’s on ‘contemporary’ railroading are perfect for me.
