How do you access the digital archive on a Windows 10 PC? I am subscribed and my account says I have the archive on my account. But every link I follow to the archive on the MR home page only takes me to a description of the archive, or telling me to get it added to my account. Is there a link to follow that says “Access the Archive here”. I must be missing something…can someone help? thanks, PJ
It’s probably nothing on your end. Several of us have had the same problem with MRVP, your account shows you’ve subscribed, but you can’t actually watch more than a minute of the videos.
I suggest calling rather than emailing customer service. They contact their IT guys and in a few hours you can connect.
Welcome PJ. I just renewed my subscription to the print, and the archives, and in order to activate the archives, I had to log off, close browser, log back in again, and it was there.
Mike.
Thanks Gents for your comments. I will call customer service and take it up with them. I downloaded the app for my iPad and gave that a shot. I can look at old issues (sort of…they get hung up downloading) but the app itself is nothing short of abysmal.
cheers, Paul
Actually, the log right out and close the browser suggestion worked. I’m able to access it now. Thanks Mike. cheers, Paul
I don’t subscribe to the digital archive. But I don’t understand why there is not a link to the log in page from the “Home” drop down menu at the top of all the screens. Or if there is a link someplace, I’d sure appreciate if someone could point it out.
Great Paul, I’m glad it’s working. And maxman, the link to the archives is on the top of the page, right next to the guys pictures, if that’s the link you are looking for.
Mike
What it says at the top of my page is “MR subscribers, check out the new all time digital archives”. If I click that it does take me to a page where there is an “access archive” box. That thanks me for being a subscriber and tells me how to add the service.
I guess if you are a subscriber the access box says something different, would that be correct?
Yes, as a subscriber, it takes me right to the archive, and instructions on how to navigate it, with the current issue up now, which you can click through, page by page.
Mike.
