Had the pleasure of being at the museum during the 2010 rocky mountain region NMRA convention, where the keynote speaker at the convention was none other than…Jim Hediger! Very enjoyable and I have very fond memories of my visit to Greeley. To anyone who has never been there, this is a bucket list item for sure. You can’t begin to understand the magnitude of this layout until you see it first hand, spectacular!!

Wow - what a layout the Greeley group has set up! Of course the video was made better by being there for a “UP day”

I got to see the operation in Greely a year ago. It is definitely a “got to see it to believe it” operation.

Hello everyone the video inspired me to visit the Greely museum. Mind you I am living in Germany but had a opportunity to fly through Denver. I stopped over and had planned out a trip including a day in Cheyenne and a visit to Greely. The volunteers on duty are great people and very friendly. I got to talk to retired train engineer operator and some real model railroad fans. Greeting from Germany after a great visit and few hours of long lasting modeling memories.
P.S we got to get Drew Halverson to extend his Co series adventures to Cheyenne at the Continental Divide and some more places in Colorado
