MR Magazine Subscription

Hi. I was hoping somebody could answer this question. I currently buy my MR magazine at my local hobby shop. I buy it every month and it is always in perfect condition. Unfortunately, not being a subscriber, I do not have access to the extra content on the webpage. I was thinking about subscribing to MR, but am worried about the condition of the magazine by the time it reaches my home. For those of you who do get MR delivered to your home, is it all bent and torn or am I worrying about nothing? Thanks for any responses…

I have received MR magazine for ever via subscription and have never had a problem with torn or bent magazines. They come in a protective plastic envelope and are always in perfect condition. Cheers.

Mine have been creased or torn from time to time, but generally not. Maybe one out of 12.

Mine has generally been in good condition. On occasion the cover gets ripped, then I call Kalmbach and they have always sent a replacement. Mine doesn’t come in a plastic wrapper. Wish it did. Maybe my mailman is reading it before I do?[:D]

I jhave rarely had a problem with my subscription. The only time I have ever had a problem with the magazine was when the mailman let it get wet due to rain. Other than that no problem.

Certainly over 20 years of MR subscription here, and hardly ever a problem. Once in awhile a cover might get torn by the delivery, but that is very rare. Save yourself some $ and go for the subscription.

Thanks for the replys everyone. I will subscribe to MR and hope for the best.
