Is there such a site or video on how model railroading equipment is made?? Might be interesting to see how they make brass engines or plastic cars and buildings or anything to do with the hobby.
Much of the plastic stuff is injection molded. Search for that, you can probably find something. It may not be train parts they are making, but it is the same.
The Pennsylvania Cable Network PCN did a show on the Bowser/Weaver factory. They showed HO cars being molded and O gauge cars being painted and lettered. You can find the tape of the show on the PCN webpage under TOURS. www.pcntv.com

Tracks Ahead had a segment from the Marklin factory a couple of seasons ago. Might try searching the PBS sites for that.
Aristocraft has just released a $20 DVD describing production of G scale models overseas. See their website for description and purchase.
I have been thinking the same thing after attempting to paint a GP40-2 in Chessie paint. I always wondered how they got that “razor sharp paint” done. My attempt has been an absolute disaster. Maybe Model Railroader could do an article on this topic.
