I’ve been thinking about taking advantage of the 40%-off on downloads sale that MR is running right now. Does anyone have experience with the PDFs as far as content & usefulness goes? Since I’m a relative beginner, I’d be most interested in the “how to” PDFs, like the one on water or bridges.

Generally I have found PDFs about various model railroad projects to be very useful. The files end up looking similar to reading the mr magazine but no advertising. You need Adobe reader which is a free download in case you do not have it yet.
I must have three dozen PDFs on various projects in my PC.
