that fantasy “heritage” fleet is as grand as NS heritage fleet, and they’re only models!! MR should work with a manufacturer (or two) for massed produce versions.

Hey Cody! I’d forgot some of the family of the MR&T, nice to see them back, excellent work, would love to see a photograph of all the units together at the round house.
maybe a day later and a dollar shorter, but if MR ran a batch of some of these units, ( and since it is your 80th birthday) I’m sure I would purchase a few just to mix in as helpers, I’d bet a few more from what I’ve read below would agree, cheers Cody! now go talk to the boss. (;
very nice models. I agree with Kevin that a few commemorative units might be viable. How about some from 60’s or 70’s as well? Short of that, how about sets of decals instead. I always found the old “Paint Shop” articles intriguing. Regards.
Beautiful work. Any chance a comprehensive listing of the paint and decal information appearing in electronic (pdf) downloadable or better yet, in the pages of MR?
Admittedly, I must have watched a few dozen times trying to get the Turtle Creek Central heritage unit written down right. The scheme seems to fit right, from the Baldwins used on the original project layouts to fit the GE B40-8 body.
Great stuff, love the heritage schemes! Beautifully designed and executed. I also think that a commercial run of these models would be very well received. The MR & T heritage units would find homes on many layouts.
